MK Firework from top of Contemporary?

Is it still possible to do that? (by going up the emergency stairs, at the side)
Is it possible to do the same thing at Bay Lake Tower?

I don't know about the Contemporary but at BLT you have to be staying there and a DVC member to view the fireworks from TOTWL unless that has been changed since my last stay. Not sure how CR works...

In order to get up to the CR observation deck you have to have had an adr at Cali Grill.
Even if you had lunch, if you have your receipt they will allow you up that night.

There's a "deck" of sorts on the 4th floor of the CR. It is near the shops by the large windows overlooking the MK. There are even a few benches out there. Looks like it could be an alternative. We've been out there, although not during a fireworks show.
