MK during the days of Nights of Joy?

I see that the Nights of Joy are on 9th, 10th & 11th September - I now know why MK closes so early on those days!!

Does the Night of Joy have any affect on the crowds in the park on those days? Will it be any more or less busy?

I had thought that perhaps they would be good days to do daytime things at MK because most people would not go to MK on a day they did not have fireworks - if you see what I mean! Then we could do the Wishes & Spectro another night - we are lucky enough to be going for two weeks!

I seems to me that last year the NOJ days were more crowded. Of course, the NOJ days were only Friday and Saturday, so maybe they would have been more crowded anyway.

Mon-Thur is a ghost town (hope the same holds true this year) and we spent most of the NOJ days somewhere other than the MK.

When we have gone in September (at least twice, possibly 3 times) during the NOJ days I always thought the parks seemed average to crowded. The worst was leaving MK on a NOJ night. There are SO MANY people standing outside the gates to get in. I bet it would be great if you did another park on those days. It always seems that when we go in September, we are at MK at least one of the days that NOJ is going on.
