MK Dessert Party

I am thinking about surprising my family with a Dessert Party for our July trip. I called Disney Dining and it is not sold out. I do have a few questions. We will be there for the new fireworks show. Does anyone think this new show will not be as visible for the Terrace Noodle Station? Also is the event air conditioned? I have heard different reports. I would love to eat some nice desserts and get out of the heat for an hour before stepping out on the terrace to watch the fireworks.

We were there for the Christmas fireworks last year and we thought it was great. We were able to see Tinkerbell and all the fireworks. You cannot see from your seats however. They have the area near the rail free from tables so people stand to watch the fireworks. They did not allow chairs or tables to be pulled up the the rail (can you believe it I saw people try). We thought it was very much worth the money, especially since the crowds were so large the night we were there. I do not know about the new fireworks.
