MK closing at 4:30 on Monday, December 2

Hoping that's a mistake? But according to the official calendar, looks like it is closing at 4:30 on that Monday? It's NOT a MVMCP night. Perhaps a corporate event? Anyway, if that's the case, do they NOT do fireworks on those evenings? Only coming down for two days to see the Christmas displays. Boy oh boy did I pick a bad time.

Those hours have been posted for a couple of months, and those "in the know" in here said it's a private/corporate event. Between that event and Mickey's Christmas Party, we have 2 chances to see Happily Ever After during the 6 days we're there.

we were at MK on the day of this event in 2016. We did not leave MK until 3:45 and it was a mad house waiting for/getting on buses to take us to another park; wish we had left at 3PM.
Great day to tour MK, crowds were light.

We specifically planned to come back the same week as the cast member party in 2019 after enjoying the same week in 2017. In 2017, we didn't have park hoppers and we didn't go to any parties and never saw fireworks (except during dinner at Cali Grill) but the light crowds on the day of the cast party made it all worth it. Our kids are meh about fireworks, so we didn't miss them. I walked over to MK after dinner at Cali Grill (and after the fireworks) and took a look at the castle lit up at night. (This was on a non-party night) The lines were way too long to get on any rides or even get any photos taken, but I got a good pic of the castle and did some christmas shopping. It was a great week. Am really hoping for the same light crowds on the CM party day as in 2017, hopefully those days aren't over!

PS. I got the 7:30 pm reservations at California Grill for 4 people the night before our dinner while checking the app around 10 pm.

Having attended last year's CM milestone celebration made me wonder if I should stay another five years. It's an amazing event.

Sooo, is it typically the first Monday of December? We are going the first week of December 2020, but only planning on the MK for MVMCP.
