MK car park full to capacity tonight!!!!

Oh my goodness, we thought that having to park way back in the MK parking lot at 8.15am this morning was bad enough but that was nothing compared to this evening!!

With the MK holding its first 24 hour park opening this summer, plus it being a holiday weekend it was CRAZY.

When we returned this evening we were queued in solid traffic (all three lanes) from where you pay at the parking lot booths! After queuing for ages we decided to forget it and head straight back out the exit!!! I'm so glad we did as they closed the parking lot as it was at capacity and started directing everyone to Epcot to catch the monorail!!!

I have been at MK before when the park was at capacity but it was nothing like this evening in the car park!

So, all of you that watched the live streaming of the parades did better than we did actually here at Disney! As it turned out we had a fantastic evening at HS for their Star Wars weekend. As they say; Every cloud......

I must confess though that as my family are all sleeping soundly around me I am tempted to hop on the bus to the MK!

We've just got back and Mk is crazy busy and wait times are mad! Managed a fastpass for big thunder mountain and watched wishes and the castle show then decided to make our way out.

I was watching MK on the live streaming last night and it was indeed MEGA packed. I thought it looked empty for the 3 o'clock parade but just before the electric light parade people were arriving in droves and by the fireworks Main street was packed all the way down from the train station..
