So my MK Bridal shoot isn't until the end of August. Right now my dress is bustled from the wedding...should I leave it bustled for the shoot, or do most brides unbustle it?

I don't know what most brides do, but I think unbustled with the train flowing behind you would look gorgeous!!!

I personally think that for such a grand venue, it would look better unbustled and as big as it can go ... but saying that, do you prefer it bustled ... teach ur h2b how to bustle it and use both styles:thumbsup2

I left mine bustled because I'd heard about how filthy the bottom of the dress gets on all those wet streets. It still got a black hem! And the marks never entirely came out in the cleaning process.

But if you're never going to wear your dress again, I guess it doesn't matter! :thumbsup2

The train of my dress was super dirty just from my wedding day so I decided to leave it bustled but my photographer Ty had me unbustle it bc he thought it would look better in shots and then he photoshopped the dirt out:thumbsup2 He was super sweet and undid the bustle for me and helped carry my train and flowers even!

Thanks for all of the advice! I think I am going to start unbustled and then have dh bustle it if needed!

I started out bustled for a few shots on Main Street and then when it came to the castle shots, I was unbustled...
That being said, when I saw the pics, I wish I had been unbustled the whole time!
Like this one for instance! ;)

I didn't even have a full skirted gown, but still think unbustled really makes a nice statement in photos...

Let us know what you decide! :goodvibes

I went unbustled, it was great for photos and it didn't get as dirty as I thought. :thumbsup2

Ok cue Panic Mode... Our Shoots are the morning of our wedding before the ceremony. Worrying now if my dress is going to get filthy before the wedding :sad2:

We did our MK and EPCOT shoots the morning of the wedding, and though the pavement was wet at MK (from the cleaning they do I think), my dress really didn't get very dirty from the either shoot! :thumbsup2
