Trying to get into the Be Our Guest breakfast for early Park entry. I know we can't ride the rides, but for a busy Saturday it may get us closer to our favorites. Why am I only seeing reservations for one party at a time and not two? I know there is no tables for just one? Also is 8am ok? Is there much of a chance MK will have early hours? Right now it shows 9 to 10 on Saturday before thanksgiving. Thanks

That happens a lot. And I've always wondered why. I've also seen other restaurants have seating for 2 and not 1, which I found just as odd.

Yep, I read somewhere on here not to do a reservation for only 3 at BOG as you stand a better chance at a reservation for 4 people. I'm not sure if I understand that either.

BOG is a quick service restaurant for breakfast and lunch although it does requires reservations. Because it is QS they fill according to the number of seats in the restaurant without regard to table size so you will see reservations for one. If you need two seats, try looking for a reservation for two, but if that isn't available, look for two separate reservations for one. You will need to put the second reservation under another person's MDE account since the system will not let you have more than one reservation within a short period of time.

Other than BOG at breakfast and lunch, every restaurant that requires reservations is a table service restaurant where there are no tables for one. The two top is the smallest sized table so solo diners will be seated at a two top. You can search for a reservation for one or a reservation for two. If you find a table for two, as long as you show up for the reservation yhou will not be charged for the "missing" second person.

The reservation system has a quirk that makes it more difficult to book odd numbered parties at many restaurants. The system wants to fill every seat at a table so if you input an odd number such as three, it will often pass over an available table. Add one more and now it will often find a reservation because you will be filling all four seats at a four top. Again you won't be charged for the "missing" fourth person. As a party of three we have booked as a party of four many times.

The availability is based on the capacity for any given time. At breakfast and lunch, you seat yourselves and don't need to be on the same reservation with someone else in order to sit together. Grabbing those ADRs for 1 person a few minutes apart is the easiest way to get into BOG for those meal times.
