MK and Downtown ?????

I dont know if this is the right place but could someone please answer my question!
Im going to MK tomorrow and the park closes early at 7pm. So we are thinking of going to Downtown afterwards to do some shopping. Can I park at Downtown and take the monorail or some sort of transportation to MK so I dont have to pay for parking twice or is that not possible. Help! I just want to make this as easy as possible!

From my understanding there isn't any transportation between Downtown and the parks. Parking at Downtown is free so you would only have to pay to park at MK.

You only have to pay to park once per day,just keep your receipt and you can park at MK or any other park again without paying.

You could park at Downtown Disney, take a bus to one of the resorts, and then go from that resort to MK.
