So This is my first trip report on the Dis (yay!) I'm going to do a mini pre-trip report and the actual trip report in the same thread. Hopefully I remember to take notes on board... Hopefully!
The nutty cast of characters includes:
Me! I'm Sarah, 21, and currently a senior at Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, FL. Disney fanatic and 5 year old at heart. My goal is to be accepted into the DCP after I graduate.
My younger sister, Rebekah. She's 17 and lover of Disney too (though not as much as her big sis) She's a senior in high school.
Here's a pic of us at Crystal Palace last October (I'm the brunette):

Our parents, Keith and Barbara. Both are Disney fans and love surprising us at Disney. (that's a whole other story all together!) My mom is the queen on surprises. Seen "Lilly's Disneyland Surprise" on youtube? Well, Mom did something very similar to that and I had that same reaction...At age 15!
This is one of the only family pics I could find of us from Disney. It's a little dated, from 2007!

So anyway. We're not technically going ON Christmas. We leave on the 14th on the Eastern Caribbean itinerary. We've been on one other cruise. We sailed on the Magic back in 2009. It was my high school Graduation present. Well, since Rebekah is a senior, she got to pick something she wanted. Originally, she wanted to go on a Disney Cruise to Alaska. That was out of the budget, so it was either a Alaskan cruise on another cruise line (shame on us, I know, I know!) or a Caribbean Disney Cruise. So Disney won out, of course! I have finals until Thursday (the 12th). My family is already on their way down to Florida, as there is a snow storm expected to hit Northern VA tomorrow morning, so they left before it came. They'll get to Disney on Monday? I think. We're going to MVMCP on Thursday night, then will head to PC on Friday morning and hang around the hotel all day.
I am absolutely excited and cannot wait to be at sea! We've had the trip booked for a little over a year, and it's SO hard to believe it's finally so close!
I'll warn y'all now, I ramble a lot so if you're still reading, THANKS! Hope you enjoy my trip report to come. I will already apologize for my low quality pics that I will post from the cruise. I've had the same camera since like 8th or 9th grade. It's kinda lame.
But...It's a camera
