First-timer departing on 4-day cruise on 11/23/03.

Have a 6 yo daughter and 4 yo son. They will apparently be split into two age groups in Oceaneer Lab. Disney materials say that 4 year 11 mo old can move up an age group. My son is very mature for his age (but just turned 4) and plays with his sister and her friends all the time. Question is how flexible is Disney on age-groupings? I am confident that he will do fine in older group and will enjoy things much more if he were with his big sister.

I was worried about that too. But my kids are broader in age difference. DD 4 and DS 10. The reason why I responded is I recall reading previous posts about this same subject. Just search down the pages deeper.

But I think that they will find their prespective CLUBS will be exciting and fun. I thought my DS10 would be checking up on my DD4. He was having the time of his life and forgot all bout his lil sis and big brother (DS13). She hardly even knew she was separated. She never once asked for him. It will be fine. I posted a trip report about the different experiences of the kids clubs. The counselors are great!
Have a great cruise!
