Hi, just back from WDW. Magical trip! dd was 4.5 yo when MAKE A WISH / GKTW granted her a WDW wish trip. THAT WAS AMAZING!

We saved and planned for three years and now dd is 7 years old and WOW what a great trip!

We were amazed and the amount of people who used the GAC. I'd have to say that 99% of the folks needed the GAC. BUT I saw two separate groups of teens who REALLY DID NOT SEEM to need this pass. Both groups did the same types of things. They would all jump into the wheelchair and PLAY with it. They would giggle, "It's my turn!" and share the chair. Now I don't want to discriminate because my daughter has "an invisiable disability." BUT not one of these teens looked remotely like they needed GAC. If they did, yippy, I hope they enjoyed their day.

I worry that things like that will eventually hurt kids like my daughter who TRULY need the GAC to make it thru the morning at WDW.

We would go early and use FAST PASS whenever we could. We really only used the GAC in the hot afternoons when dd was too weak.

However, these teens might have needed the GAC and I am giving them the benefit of the doubt. GOD BLESS!

hmmm.... were they actually provided a GAC, or were they just abusing a wheelchair?

If all they did was use a wheelchair and didn't have a GAC it go them nothing. Since wheelchairs now wait in the regular lines.
