Misty / Randy .. Disney photographers!! questions!!

this has probably been asked a trillion times but for some reason i cannot search on this site when i am at work... and i want to know now ..!

I have been on here for a little while now and i have been reading many posts about photographers Misty & Randy. I need help..

Are Misty and Randy Disney photographers?
If they are not, what company are they from?
What are thier prices compared to Disney?

For those who had Misty / Randy, did you only have these as your photographers or did you have Disney photographers too?

Who has got any Disney photographers photos' on here? Are they as good as Misty / Randy?

I think that Randy and Misty are more talented and you get a ton more for your money.

I have seen some gorgeous pictures from Disney but I LOVE Randy and Misty
way better. I say go with one of them.

I used Randy and got over 1200 pics, printed pics and a cd of all images for only ( OMG I forget the package I got) I want to say 500-600. It was the escape package. He is amazing and I love him and his work to death.

ETA.... I have seen way too may girls on here have problems with Disney Photography so that is why if I was a bride I would be a bit nervous.

Although I was very happy with my honeymoon shoot. I had Regina and she was amazing. I was not disappointed with a single picture. I loved them all!

We are having a Wishes wedding and do you know how much Misty / Randy would be for that?

OOH sorry forgot to answer that. They have thier own business.. they do not work for Disney.

I know Randy has prices on there. Click on Disney brides.. password Ariel.

I found out about them on here. Thank God for this site lol.

Just know that they can not photograph in the parks anymore, just outside of the parks.

so if we got married at SBP, and if we wanted them to photograph after the ceremony, would they be able to photograph us in the reception (Living Seas or California grill) and possibly at a dessert party? (im guessing not because its in a park).

Do you get a Disney photographer for after the ceremony if Misty / Randy cant go to the reception?

Or do you just get family to take photographs after the ceremony and through the evening?

I'm not sure if they could do the Living Seas (with the new rule now I'm not sure) I know they used to be able to.

They could do Cali Grill. I think you can ask for a Disney photog for the reception and dessert party.

I'm doing a reception at the Living seas and just wanted to let you know it is against the rules to have an outside photographer at this location since it is in the park! HTH

I would recommend the Roots. They did an awesome job with Carrie's wedding and their pictures are awesome in general.

I am having Randy, and I just wanted to answer your question about outside photographers and dessert parties - I am having Randy shoot the ceremony at the WP and reception at the California Grill and yes, they will allow you to have a Disney photographer for the dessert party only. Although, if you didn't want one at all and just wanted a family member I am sure you aren't required to have photography.

okay, i think i read that the Disney photographer for the dessert party costs $350 9if i read correctly).

I checked out Misty's website and we originally thought we would have the six hour Disney photo package at $2,600 but when i ckecked Misty's website, you get 8 hours, a bigger package and its around $2,000, and i really like the photos that ive seen Misty has taken so i think i may choose her.

we had misty and she was fantastic, we got such a vareity of photos and I'm pleased we went with her and her prices are great. Also we paid the deposit and locked the priced in before they went up again.

We booked her for unlimited hours and she got to us around 11am and then left after the dessert party.
