Mister Disney's Blue Zoo Review....and a few insights on Swan & Dolphin

Interesting enough, yes there were children there and they have a childrens menu also.

OK children's menu is a nice sign BUT did you walk in and say "Children?" Did it seem like a distraction to others*not as if you had time to notice with all the creative photo taking you did lol- I would love to try this place. That seafood platter looks just incredible and hearing a cantonese fried lobster My children have eaten at Emeril's in City Walk no problem. Is it that type of a crowd or a more upscale version. I have 4 children and would not want to take up a large table if it was crowded early also. They would eat and I would tip heavily if that helps......... anything for that lobster......We love Disney because we feel like we can bring our kids into most of the restaurants onsite(thankfully we got to experience V&A before children)

Oh gosh, no....I was not surprised at children being there. It was not a huge number though. Maybe less than 10% of the tables. If your children enjoy good food and are well behaved I would say go for it! If you have children that have a hard time remaining seated during dinner, then I would say you might want to call in a "fairy godmother" or something and just do it with you and your husband.

Kevin hated the raw clams and Oysters (3 west coast ones and 3 east coast ones).

It was truly a texture thing!

I enjoyed the ones we had a Max ... just didn't enjoy these.

Overall impressions?

We thought Blue Zoo had it all, but one thing....

The service was great, the drinks delicious and the food for the most part was outstanding. The one thing it lacked was its location.

We would defintiely go back again, but probably would take the Monorail over to Epcot and then catch one of the boats from the International Gateway over to the hotel so we wouldn't have to use their parking or walk through the hotel. Blue Zoo is easily accessible from the lower level which is very close to the boat launches.

Please don't let the location of this restaurant deter you from going! Todd English has a great restuarant with Blue Zoo. It's definitely worth the trip, but as we suggest, take the long way around to get there. You'll enjoy your experience better.

She laughed and said what she made me was their signature martini. House Made Blueberry infused vodka Martini. Oh My God, was it good. This is a very, very DANGEROUS drink. It goes down just like cool-aid! Although it was $10, it is a definite must have.

Can I tell you that I make my own BB infused vodka, but I never thought to turn it into a martini? Now I know what else to do with it.

we've considered bluezoo... while the kids were at the dolphin kids' club... just cannot decide between bluezoo and shulas... any input? (we're both foodies, but dh goes for quantity w/his quality whereas i could go for a bite of this and two of that most happily)

Can I tell you that I make my own BB infused vodka, but I never thought to turn it into a martini? Now I know what else to do with it.
