Mister Disney's Blue Zoo Review....and a few insights on Swan & Dolphin

Mister Disney, welcome back from your trip! I've been eagerly awaiting your restaurant reviews. It sounds like you had a great dinner at Blue Zoo. I really enjoyed the detail and pictures you put into your report.

I have to say I agree with you about the ambience of the Swan/Dolphin. Me and Jake walked through the lobby of one of them (can't remember which one or how we got there) and it just wasn't very nice...

But anyways, thanks for the reviews. They were a pleasure as always.

Mister DIsney - you have the best reviews! :wizard: Thanks!

I gotta know, did you actually stand to get the amazing aerial photo of the seafood platter? :teeth:

Thank you so much for this review! DH and I were considering making a reservation here for our October trip and I've been dying to find a review. I am sold (which means the hubby is sold, too, since I do all the planning - :teeth: ) and cannot wait to have a seafood feast this fall.

And that martini...sign me up!! :thumbsup2

Thanks, Mr. Disney - I'm looking forward to more of your restaurant reviews, especially Easter dinner at Victoria and Alberts. We're trying for the Chefs Table on our next visit - wish us luck!

Brenda :goodvibes

:worship: Bravo!! Bravo!!<throws roses from the balcony :duck: > :rotfl2:

Another poetic review as only you know how to do....how we strive to write and describe as you!! :thumbsup2 Great Job!! Thanks!

Mister Disney, thanks for the outstanding review and pictures! I was one of the DISers who loved for Bluezoo, so I'm really glad you chose this place! :cheer2:

I have to say though, as you have made me extremely excited about my August ADR at Bluezoo, :cloud9: you've also made me wary about my resort choice- the Swan! :faint:

At least I'm not bringing a car, and I'll always have the Starbucks coffee there to take the edge off! :coffee:

Can't wait for the rest of the reviews!!!! :woohoo:

I really enjoyed reading your review. Our next trip to WDW I will definitely make reservations at the Blue Zoo. Can't wait to read the rest of your reviews.

I am so hungry after reading your review ~ The seafood platter looks fantastic. Can't wait to try the Blue Zoo on our next trip.

Thank you Mr. Disney, I really enjoy having the pictures with the reviews. Great looking seafood....am anxious for the Kimonos review-we are sushi fans. Of course I am still on the edge of my seat and hoping to fall off of it laughing when the pop review makes its debut.

Thanks for the great review and pics! I'm curious about this restaurant and want to try it.

What was the dress code there? Is it a large restaurant? Was it a noisy restaurant? Thanks for any info. :)

Great review and pics, thanks for posting. :goodvibes

Thanks for the review! Blue Zoo is one I'm thinking of trying in September...

You had me convinced at the MARTINI!!! I do have to agree being a Mainer that a little more lobster wouldn't have hurt the meal. Loved your review...

Thanks, Mr. Disney. Wonderful review. How much did all this cost?

mister disney could you please report on the cost of your terrific meal?

well....uhm.....we kinda tipped a little heavy because Anthony did a great job.

total bill including tax and tip was close to $150 and they do not take the disney dining experience card. The seafood platter was $45 and those little Florida Crab Claws were an extra $24 :faint: although, I would say well worth it in our book.

It was a ton of fresh things, there are multiple things on the menu that are very reasonably priced, but you'd be hard pressed to go to Blue Zoo for less than $100 a couple.

I think they are going for the business casual look. We wore nice shirts and pressed cargo shorts and felt fine. There were people there dressed up much more, but defintiely NO tshirts.

It is a large restaurant but the noise level really wasn't bad at all.
