Mission Space 3rd week of Sept????

Hello,

I was wondering what are the chances of this being up and operational by the 3rd week of Sept? Thanks

It should be open. It has been open from 4 pm to 9 pm M-F most of the time since early June. Aug. 15 is the official "soft opening" when it should be open all day long. I rode it three times on June 10 and I really enjoyed it. No problems even though I had just finished a large meal at Le Cellier in Canada.

Thanks so much...I am one of those people who waited and waited each trip each year with baited breath to see if Test Track would finally open. I am glad to hear that MS should be fully operational by the time I go this year. It was torture waiting for TT and you could hear the cars zooming around inside, yet it still was not ready...not to mention when it did finally open the daily NO hourly breakdowns LOL

They appear to have learned from the design mistakes made on Test Track. With Test Track, when one car malfunctions, the whole ride is down. Mission Space has four centrifuges that run independently from each other. If one malfunctions, the other three keep on running. Have fun in September.

We just got back and it was NOT open any of the days we were there. we were told it would open next month. Linda

Metallicat, what days and times were you there? I've been reading that it has been and was going to be open after 4:00 M-F until the soft opening?

We were there July 10th - 16th. We didn't do Epcot every day but went 3 or 4 times usually in the afternoons and one time in the mornings. The one time we saw a CM standing at the entrance we stopped and ask and was told it was opening next month. he never mentioned anything about certain hours or days or gave any indication that it might open later in the day. so we just went on and did other things. I figure we'll get to ride it in October anyway so it was no big deal. Linda
