I just went to Disney yesterday and I tried to ride that new Mission Space. It was aweful, and when you get done, you FEEL aweful!! The G-Forces or so horrible feeling that you can't stand it after a few seconds and then, if it's not bad enough that they do it for take-off, they do it 3 times!! And don't get me wrong, I am definitely not motion sick at all, and I can take the pressure, because I am a huge coaster junkie, but this just felt horrible during, and after. I mean, what fun is a ride that you want to end???

You didn't ride it right. My guess is that you moved your head around during the ride and stuff. You CAN'T do that on Mission: Space. When you ride it, you have to keep your head looking STRAIT at the camera, and not move it. I've ridden it a few times, and every time with the exception of one time, I rode it the right way so to speak. The one time I didn't, I felt like I was going to throw up. If you do the things I said, you shouldn't have a problem.

Late.

I agree...i generally don't like spinning/pressure rides like the gravitron at carnivals...but i am huge coaster fan.....i really had no problems on this ride...just follow the instructions and you should be fine...if i where you i'd give it another shot! :cheer2:

My entire family and I felt  but it was worth it for me. I got premiere sneak peek tickets from a CM on Test Track :goodvibes

My brother said when I was on it I turned my head so that was why I didn't feel good. I didn't think I did, though!

im the same exact way and i felt the same way when i got off Mission: Space....there is so much pressure going on your chest and everything. Also i kept my head straight like i was told when i went on it and it still didnt do anything, i felt so bad after the ride. I'll never ride it again. Thats the only ride in WDW that i will never ride again. I have to give them thumbs up though for making it realistic to the actual feeling they feel in space though, well done.

I've never had any problems with this ride... but my mom has. When she gets off she feels funny and she has to sit down for a minute.

Mission:Space is an intense ride. I have not had any problems except for when I went on it twice in a row. I definetly wouldn't take a four year old on this ride even if they were tall enough. I am the only one in my family that likes this so I usually ride by my self.

oooohhh....no....the people behind us in Soarin told me not to turn my head or else I would get sick, and they were still looking a little green, so i made SURE i didn't turn my head.....

I personally think there should be an AGE requirement as well as the height requirement.....I can't imagine a four-year-old on that ride....

Everyone has their own personal reaction to it. I had no trouble with it and I love it! My mom and dad refuse to ride it, though. Me and my brother went on multiple times in a row. So fun!

OMG Mission Space is my most favriote ride if all time (next to Dragster :rotfl: at cedar point hehe) i can ride that thing again and agian and again but i understand cause some people are just not made for those kinds of rides! its like atleast one out of the four that get sick. for those who plan on riding it anytime soon try not eating alot when your about to get on it. thats how alot of people get sick (ecept for me *cause im weird like that*). :flower:

Well, atleast you can say you tried it. That's more than I can say...

Thats sorta the point of mission space
to simulate a space mission :teacher:

I am a wuss when it come to coasters, but this, this isthe best ride ever. I have ridden 2 times in a row, and not even sick. I actually like the light headed feeling.

I met some people that were on the ride with the little boy that died. They said that he didn't look like he was tall enough to ride. It is sad that he died but his parents should have known that this ride was too intense for a four year old.

Mission: Space isn't one of my favorites, it kind of gets me sick afterwards and I don't enjoy it very much. I'll go on it, but it's not one of my favorites.

Did you hear about the 4 year old that did because of it? When I went down in June of this year the day before we were going to go ride Mission: Space a little boy was killed they think it was because of stress of the ride. I think THere should be an age requirement and height too.

it's an ok ride. i mean i didn't get sick or anything afterwards, but i think i'm sticking to rollercoasters... :)
