Ive grouped these two together, because if you are holding meal vouchers, both are viable options when you are in the MK.
Pecos Bill we were happy with PB in the past. The burgers seemed good, the fixins bar was cool, and the brownie / ice cream dessert was good enough. This year, the burgers were rated slightly better than BK by DS16. Fries were soggy. No one used / cared about the fixins bar and the lone dessert option was a chocolate cream pie (which only DS47 will eat). We determined this restaurant was no longer meal voucher-worthy, and if we return to PB, it will be on a cash basis to fill some short term hunger need. Without a viable dessert in the menu, you cannot recoup your meal voucher dollars. The cashier, for what it is worth, was outstandingly courteous and efficient. VERY efficient. Efficient-like-me.
Cosmic Ray lets just say up front that the dessert option here is a Hagan-Daz ice cream bar ($3.50). Everyone in my party likes this dessert. Everyone likes chicken or burgers or chicken ceasar salad many more choices than at PB. Nobody cares about fixins. Case closed. This is not the absolute, killer-best menu-dollar to voucher-dollar ratio, but it is the best option at the MK, if you are there for the day anyway. I dont have to make a killing on my meal vouchers (although that is fun). I just have to realize at least 20% savings. Breaking even is not good enough, since Connections and Disney are making interest off my money until I spend the voucher. This place will do nicely, for convenience.
