My family couldn't believe I was making them get up at 7:00 on vacation, but we could only get to the MK by bus from the WLV on this non-early-entry morning, so we had to be sure not to be late for this tour.

Check-in was very well done. They have customized name tags and bottled water and coffee (must have been that Nescafe everyone keeps talking / complaining about, though) for the guests. It was smooth, courteous, pleasant.

The tour itself, did not vary much from those recounted on allearsnet.com, so I won't repeat all of it here. Having read so much about the tours on the internet and having read several books about Walt, I did not learn nearly as much as the other two members of my family did. But I still totally enjoyed the experience.

Our tour guide (will have to check my notes for his name, currently on my desk at work - FRED) was very low key, pleasant and informative. He was a former high school history teacher.

As a group, we went on Jungle Cruise (without the Captain-patter, as we got the behind-the-scenes patter), Pirates and Haunted Mansion.

Lunch at Harbor House was waiting for us and was better than I was expecting. Yes, upstairs is a pleasant respite from the hustle. Will have to try this place again on my own.

In all, I highly recommend this tour. The price, I thought, was reasonable ($58?), included lunch, and was subject to the 20% discount, when paid for with Disney Visa. Tour was about 5 hours long, including lunch. I was not too hot or tired at any point.

Recommend it? Very highly. At least once.

Repeat? I would probably only repeat this tour if I had reason to believe I would learn something new. It does take 5 hours out of a park pass day.

Great trip report ~ Thanx for sharing.

We've done the KTTK tour twice now and really enjoyed it both times.

Enjoying all of your reports! Thanks for posting.

How were your tours different? Did you go to different places? Were the guides different enough to talk to different ideas / facts. I was actually hoping for someone to be able to offer a recommendation for why it would be a good idea to do it more than once.
