Missing Onboard Booking

We didn't know about the placeholder option. We tried to book a future cruise but were told there was no availability - no placeholder option mentioned. If there was a card to turn in we probably didn't complete it if it required CC info, especially after we talked to the CM's as they seemed like they didn't want to help us with our future cruise. Any way we came home and contacted the TA. She managed to book our cruise selection with little trouble but was unsure if she could get us the OBC as we hadn't booked on the cruise. We have since pushed the cruise off to 2017 so I guess any OBC is long gone.

We did an OBB last year. We had to wait in line, but no way was I leaving that desk without a confirmation number. They didn't offer us any paperwork, just the number. I had to ask for it. o_O

Got home, called to verify anyway, and had no problems.

I'm way to OCD and would worry constantly about that card getting to the right person. ::yes::

(She did ask for a credit card number. She didn't ask if we wanted it on our account.)

I REALLY hope you get that straightened out. I'd be freaking out.

Update: My TA contacted Disney and was told to submit an email just as I did. She was also told that it can take more than a week for them to respond due to the high volume of emails. Hopefully, either my TA or I will hear back soon.

But my advice to everyone is to wait in line and get the confirmation number from the onboard booking desk. I would've spent less time waiting in line than I have spent trying to fix it since I got home. o_O

So, I just got a call from a supervisor at guest services. He said they had gotten so far behind onboard the Wonder with future bookings that the ship sent them all shoreside to be completed. He apologized that it took so long to complete the reservation and appreciated my understanding.

All is well that ends well, but next time I will definitely wait in line and complete the booking onboard!

So glad this all worked out for you.
