We are back from our June 1 first trip to disney and now I know about the sad feelings that people have about leaving DW. We had such a wonderful time DH DS9 and myself. It truly was a magical vacation. I am looking forward to planning our next trip (don't know when) I left the Disney magazine on my husbands dresser a few times hoping the will get the message. But I don't think it won't be difficult to convince him. He was like a kid again. My DS and I were giggling at him on the bus to MK because he was so happy to be there. It's just that I want to go back a.s.a.p. and can't bear the thought of waiting an entire year. I probably sound pretty loony but I just wanted to express my feelings. Thanks

I know how you feel and its been 2 years since my last visit!

I know exactly how you feel. We had our first trip in Dec 2004 and it was such a great time.

Once we came home I was sad for months. I only snapped out of it once we decided we would plan to take another trip this December.

All I think about is Disney World. I can't wait to go back.

Oh you're not loony at all, we went for 10 days and were on hand to see all the festivities for the 50th celebration.
The 10 days seemed to have flew by we had to most magical trip anyone could have imagined.I can't tell you how much I want to be back there!!
Our children were great the entire time we were there and they too had a great time. I play our Wishes CD almost everyday and watch at least one of our Disneyworld DVDs too.
We are looking towards December 2006 for our next trip which will also be our 10 year wedding anniversary, so I'm looking to maybe renew our vows there as well.

We just got back last week and I'm feeling the Disney blues too. We won't be able to go back until 2007. How will I ever survive?

we were going to go to DW ONE TIME. Well, we just got back from our 5th trip in four years.

A funny story - the other day, Samantha Brown on GREAT HOTELS (tv show) was at the Beach Club and she said "if you haven't been to Disney lately, there's some changes!" And my nine year old daighter says "We have been yet this month!" (we just went the end of May.....)

It is addicting, isn't it?

I completely understand the "we are back home blues" because we just returned ourselves from a week at the World and I am feeling it. I am lucky in the sense that living two hours away affords us opportunity to go more often than most people, but we are not millionaires by any stretch of the imagination, so we can not go and stay as often as I'd like to. We usually can go to the parks a few random weekends during the year and a longer vacation during the summer when the kids (and I) are out of school and DH can get time off.

I was in a deep funk this weekend, but the fog of Disney depression is lifting and I am once again able to read these boards and not cringe with jealousy over the people on their way to vacation! Watching Samantha Brown's Great Hotels the last few days has been hard though. ;)
