Missing Deluxe

I've always wondered why after all this time why there is no Chinese themed Deluxe Resort. I mean maybe I'm alone on this, but it seems like something that would be amazing. Forbidden city look to it with a scaled way down great wall running around the grounds. A Mulan themed pool and the food... Maybe it's just me, but either way I may have to go on a midnight Chinese food run now.

Disney's Asian Resort was supposed to be built in 1974 where the Grand Floridian now currently sits. It wasn't themed to China but more Thailand. I believe the Asian Resort along with the Persian and the Venetian Resort were abandoned following a 1973 oil embargo. Concept images located on the All Ears site:
