This is how it looks in Delaware this morning. Yeah - not kidding only its still coming down! March 25th? What an insult.

OK - love the PP of you 4. So adorable.

Mary - $500 for flights? That's a bit steep. We are driving this summer so I really haven't been watching prices.

Kathy - I'm not sure what the latest is on Cookie, but I am certainly thinking of you. So sad when an animal is ailing. You just fill so torn. I can only imagine.

Well, that's the pits about the Air Tran flight change - over the years I have often read of Air Tran doing that (Delta is terrible) and am very disappointed that SW is replacing their service with AT out of Raleigh/Durham - the closest airport to us over an hour away. Anyway, hopefully they put you on an earlier flight. Delta refunded our money twice for arrival changes of more than 90 mins and switched us to a better flight another time. Fingers crossed!

I'm sorry Mark's former teammate did not win, but looks like he still did well and All American is fantastic! Hope next year the championship is his!

That was so sweet of Alisha. You have such great relationships with both of your "girls". I love my son-in-law but it has taken a whie for us to be close. His mom did when he was 19 and he didn't want a new "mom" and he resented the fact my daughter and I are so close but after 8 years we are good friends.

I will be flying SWA going in May and AirTran coming back !!They are both listed on the SWA flights , so the merger is merging more apparently!!!I am told that AirTran will go to the find ya seat practice eventually, that is the only thing I didn't like about SWA !!

Yes it would. And it was a hard match because we think he got hosed...but they did not reverse it. I have every confidence Tony will go out a winner next year!

Alisha's present is wonderful. So good to start out with a strong loving relationship.

While we were driving home, I sent her a text message to thank her. And she texted back that she meant every word and then some. She truly is a gem!

I have had Air Tran change flights and when I call they will change the flight with no fees. I hope that can happen for you.

I thought it would be great being at a hub, but it seems like you pay for convenience. We left AZ and are in Texas now and got some great prices on SW. Hope you find a deal!

Wasn't that sweet of her? It now has a special spot in my family room. Airfare is crazy; I paid more than I wanted to for our trip in 12 days, but it didn't look to be coming down. Thankfully, I was very lucky with the price for my flights in June and our flights in August. I haven't even looked at December's lately.

This winter has sure been a bizarre one in all different parts of the country. We barely had a dusting last night, but 3 hours south of us they got a foot of snow yesterday.

We didn't take many of the four of us, but that is my favorite.

The last time I looked at our December flights they were around $450!

This is his second AA...he took 3rd last year. I have all the faith in the world that he will bust his butt this summer and come back a champion next year. He's also doing two camps for Markie's youth wrestling club over the summer...that's just the type of young man he is (free of charge too!)

We had a great weekend...too short, but they are coming home this weekend and we are taking them downtown on Saturday night for prime rib dinner at Lawry's and then they will have Easter dinner with us before going home. I lovemy gift.

Before I get to our Day 1 plans, I wanted to let you all know about my airline situation. As those of you caught up know, my flight was changed by Air Tran. It wasn't a 5 or 10 minute difference, but 105 minutes and I wouldn't have gotten into Orlando until 12:05 a.m. on Friday morning. This just was NOT going to work.

I called Air Tran, but they couldn't help me because I booked through Priceline. They could give me some options of flights that were open, but I would have to call Priceline to make the changes. I then called Priceline and explained the situation to them...that I was meeting two young kids and that was just too late and unacceptable for Air Tran to change the flight so drastically. I had a very nice gentleman on the phone who said he would check availability and see if I was agreeable to one of those flights. He gave me a suggestion and I told him it was perfect. He asked me to hold 5 - 7 minutes while he called Air Tran to confirm this and to be sure I was NOT charged a change of flight fee or a difference in fare. Michael came back on the phone and told me it was all set.

So what time do I arrive now? I arrive in time to have dinner with Mary, Avery and Cayley at Downtown Disney at WPE! My flight lands around 5:15 p.m. and the girls are hoping to get on the flight that arrives around 4 p.m. They will wait at the airport for me and we will all catch ME together. I am so excited...this works so much better. My boss is cool with it; I've not cleared it with my supervisor, but since I have 7 days of vacation still left there is no reason why I can't take another day off (I'll actually work until 11:30 and take a cab to the airport which is only about a 25 minute ride).

Okay, so let's get to Day 1 Plans.

I'm not sure how early we will be up due to the time difference for Mary and the girls. But once we are up, we will take our luggage to Bell Services for them to transfer over to:

Yes, it will be my FIRST ever stay here, and the girls as well (although they did use the pool with friends before).

This is the LAST deluxe resort I've had any desire to try and I'm getting that opportunity thanks to Mary.

After we get that all settled, we are heading to the MK. We will be meeting up with friends of Mary and the girls, Heather and her daughters (I met Heather on the first girls' trip in January and we all hit it off really well and the girls are very sweet).

I would guess we might try to catch a few characters and do a few attractions before we have lunch:

We have lunch at the Plaza, where Mary and I plan to have us split a meal and the girls split a meal so that we are hungry for our very special dinner ADR.

From there, I'm sure it will be on to more attractions:

When you read Mary's update on her travel plans, you will notice that Mary mentions my "new arrival time." While we were driving to Dubuque yesterday, I got an email that they changed my flight to Orlando. Now I don't land until 12:05 a.m. I am NOT happy about this at all. I am calling Air Tran tomorrow to see if I can get on an earlier flight...there is several earlier planes. So keep your fingers crossed for me.

We had a great weekend in Dubuque with the kids. Alisha got her headpiece and her veil (of which I paid for) and we went to lunch. They then had people over last night for her birthday. We watched the NCAA Wrestling Championships. Unfortunately, Markie's former teammate feel a little short, but was runner up and an All American for the second year in a row. He has one more year to go and hopefully he gets that Championship next year.

I wanted to share the gift Alisha bought for me. I have to admit I shed a few tears when I saw it.

I'll do our Day One plans tomorrow...I want to try to catch up on the threads I missed while we were gone this weekend.

Super happy to hear that your flight was able to be change to a better time - at no charge to you - what a relief. Air Tran did that to us for our 2008 trip - except there was NO email or notification whatsoever. I was very angry when I finally found out - because their schedule change would have made us miss our layover flight (which didn't get changed ) They were very nice about getting us on our earlier flight again. It's the first and last time I've flown with them though.

How fun that you get to stay at Beach Club - it's one I'd love to try some day too... I am afraid it will be quite some time - however.

So happy the flights turned out great - the original change worked out in your favor! I'd like to try Priceline, but fear I'd wind up with seven connectins via Timbuktu!

We've stayed at BC, but not the Villas yet. Of course, SAB is hard to beat! Hope you all enjoy BCV and want to go back!
