My Best Friend - Renowned Pet Psychic Sonya
Well, we were supposed to head to MGM today but Sonya decided to go lay out by the pool. She wasn't all that fond of our pool and said she was going to head over to the Beach Club. I sensed that this wasn't the best of ideas but Sonya insisted. She got all ready for the pool and headed out. I snapped a pic of her in her cabana gear before she left...
So, I decided to head to MGM on my own. When I arrived I ran right smack dab into Montel Williams & Sylvia Brown! It really is a small world after all! We had a wonderful time catching up and got quite a few laughs out of Sonya's antics. Montel asked how we both didn't know we would run into each other. Montel is SUCH a joker. I guess those two have been seeing each other secretly for awhile now! We were all quite hungry so we decided to grab a bite at The Brown Derby. I had the Cobb Salad and it was TO DIE FOR! Montel & Sonya...I mean Sylvia enjoyed their meals too. When it came time to pay, I realized I had forgotten my wallet. They were kind enough to pick up my tab. What great friends!
I suggested that we head down to the thrill rides but apparently Montel wanted to see Playhouse Disney. He insisted we HAD to get in line at least 45 minutes before showtime or we would get a bad seat. I felt obligated to tag along since they paid for my lunch! Wouldn't you know, Montel really enjoyed the show. He was doing the bear cha-cha and even got picked to dance in front! You gotta hand it to the guy, he is surely a kid at heart. I snapped a pic of him dancing...
We finally rode the two thrill rides and they were a blast! After we got off Tower of Terror, Sylvia started bragging about how the hotel reminded her of some place where she found some bodies for the police. Then she asked me if I ever found bodies for the police...knowing full well I haven't! She thinks she is such a big shot. I reminded her that I don't dwell on the past, I look forward to the future!! I then made a comment about her gaining weight just to put us back on an even keel.
We decided to split up but agreed we were going to meet up later on to watch Wishes together! I was really starting to miss Sonya so I headed over to the Beach Club. She was sitting by the pool enjoying a pina colada and invited me to join her. Boy, the Beach Club has a GREAT POOL! I don't know if I would ever stay in the hotel but I will ALWAYS use the pool! If you are staying at a resort with a not so great pool, check out the Beach Club pool! It is like a mini water park...but FREE!
Well, we withered our day at the pool away and it was time to go back and get ready for the Luau and Wishes. We got in our best exotic garments and headed to the Luau. We got a seat right down in front and both ordered a Mai Tai. Sonya promised to take it easy on the booze! We enjoyed the appetizers and our waiter was D'lish! At one point in the show, one of the male dancers pulled me up to dance with him! He must have really had the hots for me! I started doing the grind with him and completely forgot I was at a luau! Disney magic was at it once again! I turned around and shook my booty at him then all of a sudden I was ushered back to my seat by one of the female dancers...I'm sure she was jealous.
After our meal we were STUFFED but we promised to meet Montel & Sylvia at Wishes. We hopped on the monorail and went over. Wow! The show was GREAT! Here is a picture of us....
Montel & Sylvia were being asked for their autograph left and right! Nobody asked for mine so I decided not to speak to them for the rest of the evening.
Tomorrow is our last day and the day Sonya met the love of her life....
