Hi, here are some misc. questions for you vets, still trying to figure things out.

Does Disney provide towels? Can you take them to the beaches or do you have to bring your own?

Does Disney provide robes in your rooms?

Is there a frig or cooler in your room? An ice bucket?

Snorkel-bring your own equipment or rent? My DD and I will probably snorkel at 2, maybe 3 of the port-o-calls. I don't mind lugging it, but depends on the savings.

thanks in advance, love this site! (I especially like those little jumpy guys!)

Hi newbycruiser, and welcome! :D

Disney provides all the towels you need, there are several towel lockers poolside. They will let you take them ashore for excurions, just be sure to bring them back.

There are no robes in the staterooms except for the Category 1-3 suites.

There is a "beverage cooler" in your room plus an ice bucket, which your room steward will refill for you daily. We have always found the cooler is fine for cooling down beverages but some folks report that their beverages are not cooled very well with them.

Bring your own snorkel equipment. It's $25 for adults to rent equipment on Castaway Cay. If you do a snorkel excursion, though, the equipment is included. If you go off on your own to snorkel somewhere then you would need your own equipment.

YES Disney provides towels poolside -- and you may take them off the ship onto the islands. In fact -- they will have a cart full of towels available as you disembark the ship onto the islands -- and a return bin for when you get back to the ship.

No robes --- except maybe in suite rooms. Can someone confirm this -- robes in suites?

There is an ice bucket in your room -- if you ask your room stuard, they will keep in full. There is also an electric 'cooler' in the room -- it does not get quite as cold as a fridge but it does get drinks cool.

It would be a big savings to bring your own snorkel gear. You can probably buy a set for the cost of one rental. On Castaway Cay -- you may use the float vests for FREE.

Yes.

You can take them to the beaches.

Does Disney provide robes in your rooms?
Only in the concierge categories.

Is there a frig or cooler in your room?
Yes, there is an underpowered, dorm-sized refrigerator in all staterooms.

An ice bucket?
Your stateroom attendant will bring you fresh ice twice a day.

If you have snorkel equipment, go ahead and bring it along. Besides saving money, you'll be sure you have equipment that you are used to and that has all the features you're used to and that it will fit you propery.

Does anyone know if you can rent robes?

I am more of an "extra large t-shirt kind of gal" but a robe seems so much more charasmatic for sitting on the verandah.
