Discovered the mint julep bar in New Orleans Square last month and now I want to serve them at an upcoming party.
Does anyone have the recipe or one that comes even close to the one served in DL? I've looked online but most seem to be the original versions and contain alcohol.

Thanks all! :drinking1

I don't know thee recipe, but I do know that they have it in City Hall in Disneyland. We were there over the weekend, and I went in for a recipe and just happened to see that they had that one. Maybe somebody who is going soon can pick it up for you?

mmm, disneyland mint julep.

This is what I think the creme de menthe syrup (non alcoholic) you use is:

Torani creme de menthe Italian syrup. You can get it at bevmo. It is a nice shade of green. LOL

I got the recipe at DL a several years ago and made it at home. (Not sure if it is the same recipe listed by previous poster.) It didn't taste right at all (and I am very good at following recipes).

I realized something this last trip to DL (the Mint Julep Bar outside was closed) we got Mint Juleps inside the French Market Restaurant - just really bad! Even the CM's there told us it would be. But the ones at Blue Bayou are wonderful! And the CM's at French Market told us they were different - they couldn't tell me why????

I don't know what the difference would be (and no, it wasn't the setting, I CAN tell the difference). We ate at Blue Bayou one day (great Juleps), had Juleps at French Market another day (shocked how bad they were), and then ate at Blue Bayou again and they were still wonderful.

The servers at Blue Bayou didn't seem to know what I was talking about when I mentioned the differences but the servers at French Market all agreed they aren't so great there and tried to warn us. We actually threw them away. Tasted like bad mouthwash.

Weird. Machines different? Ingredients? Person making the batches? Small or larger batches? I wish I knew what it was.

Good luck!

I had no idea you could pick up a recipe at City Hall. Thank you!!!
.

No problem. You just need to ask. They pulled out a three-ring binder and just started flipping thru. Now I'm angry that I didn't ask for the pumpkin fudge recipe.:sad2:
