Minnie Van pickup at large resorts like OKW/SSR

It appears that I'll be needing to change my hotel plans for my december trip because there are no more of the type of room and dates I'm looking for at any resorts other than SSR (preferred view only [Congress Park/Springs]) and OKW.

With Minnie Vans will they allow you to set the pickup point to somewhere within the resort like a parking lot in a specific section of the resort? I know you can do this with the Lyft app itself outside of Disney I just want to make sure using it in disney at one of these resorts doesn't force you to be picked up at the Carriage House or Hospitality House.

We will not have a car and I have no interest in dealing with the final two bus stops at SSR during peak morning times due to repeated negative experiences with the busses while staying at Congress Park.

We were told that they can only use areas they have designated as pick up points. I don’t know the designated area for SSR. You cannot set the location. The driver did call us once to let us know we were walking in the wrong direction for where they pick up in Disney Springs. He could not pick us up where we wanted as the old bus area is their designated spot. For multiple resorts we have always been picked up at the main entrance. YMMV.

If a car can drive to the parking lot, you can be picked up there, at all resorts, except for CSR.
CSR has internal gates so the car services can't get in. Minnie Vans can though, so they could.
At SSR/OKW they can come right to your building. We were picked up at our building at SSR.
You simply move your PIN to your building when you enter your request. I did the same at CBR and at POFQ. It worked perfectly fine.

This is great to hear! Thanks! Now I'm not so disappointed having to go to SSR again, still hoping for the Springs but if I end up and Congress Park lyft drivers (and lyft) will be getting a lot of money

It's actually one of the nice things about the Resorts with parking lots vs. the Resorts where you have to go to the main lobby. Which is most of the Deluxe resorts. There you do have to trek all the way out to the central pick up point, which is typically the valet area, since that's the only place a car can drive to. At the Mods, Values and the few Villa only resorts you can have them come right to your building (except for CSR)
