Can anyone tell me what characters are at Minnie and Friends at the Plaza (my girls *love* minnie, but I was wondering what other characters are there as well). What is the food like?
Also, do they still have the Princess breakfast at the Plaza also? princess:
We went to Ariels in DCA and had so much fun, but thought we would try out some other character meals. . .

thanks :)

We went to the Plaza on March 10th. We saw Minnie, Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Chip, Dale, Hook and the Fairy Godmother. You may see an occasional princess, but not likely since they are at Ariels. (the princess breakfast ended in about Sept, when they moved to Ariels at DCA).

The food was good. It is a "served" buffet. Meaning there are people there that will put the food on the plate for you, but it is all you can eat. I actually like that because then other guests aren't touching my food.

There was:
Ham
bacon
link sausage
biscuits and gravy
fried potoatoes
scram. eggs
made to order omelets
fruit
wafffles,
french toast
muffins/ pastries
cereal
milk/juice/coffee/tea

The character interaction was wonderful. Each one stayed at our table for a while. Some sat down to play or visit. Some had a fun time playing with my son's buzz lightyear gun. Before we left each child got a ballon with Minnie on it.

Cute! My girls will love it. Thanks for the info!

Can you make PS for this breakfast or is it first-come, first-served?

Yes, you can make a PS for it. I'd recommend doing that.

We had breakfast at the Plaza two weeks ago and LOVED it!!! We saw: Minnie, Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger, Hook, Fairy Godmother, Chip, Dale, and Max. The food was yummy and described as above.

I would HIGHLY recommend this character breakfast. My girls, 6 and 8, had a blast. The interaction was awesome. Many of the characters came back 2 and 3 times just to visit. We also did the Princess lunch at Ariel's but this was WAY better.

I would recommend the PS. I called only a week before our trip and had no problems getting in. We had PS for 8:10 on a Sunday and it was perfect. We were seated immediately and the characters were waiting at the door and as soon as we sat down, they were there.
