What time should I make my reservation for? Should I do it first thing and miss out on that first hour of park time or should I do it right before they close the breakfast and use it as more of an early lunch? I am leaning towards the early lunch idea but has anyone had any bad experiences doing it at that time? Was the food not as good or had they run out of anything? Were the characters still milling around?

TIA,
SarahMay

I've not done the Minnie breakfast, but I assume it'd be the same as other Character breakfasts I've done, in that there's still plenty of (fresh) food late in the morning. Unless it's the last day of my trip & I need to get checked out of the hotel & to the airport, I never do Character meals first thing in the morning- getting to certain rides (I'm sure you know which ones those are, if you're asking about early vs. late breakfast ) first thing in the morning is pretty much the only way you won't have to stand in a super-long line to get on. Getting to "those rides" half an hour after Park opening is about the same as getting there in the middle of the day, wait-wise.

We have done Minnie's at 10:20 and loved it! We used it as early lunch, rode a few rides before, plenty of fresh food and had GREAT character interactions. I would probably do the same time again without hesitation.:wizard:

Go late! Just ate there at 10:40 last week (a little late for our 10:30 PS). I had the same concerns. It was perfect! Lots of food, not many people, and all the characters! Each one was by our table at least twice, and were in no rush. To top it all off, when the restaurant closed at 11:30, they brought all the characters over and each family was able to take a picture with them all together. So cute....my youngest DD and I with 6 or 7 characters. Never had that experience before!

We did this breakfast as a brunch too. At the end all the characters were dancing in the middle of the tables. Great photo op with the kids dancing inbetween. Food was great, although being an ignorant Aussie I had to ask what some things were! Don't forget to grab a fast pass before you go in.
