Minnesota to Washington DC to WDW and back to Minnesota.... DRIVING!

Are we nuts? We have wanted to go to DC for a while now and were planning on driving there. Well, some friends who are also Disney crazy want to go to Virginia to visit relatives........ all of the sudden we decided we could drive together (2 vehicles) to that area and then head south after 5-6 days to WDW.... we'd spend a week or so in WDW and head back to MN! It sounds like both families are on board, I know mine is as they all love to go on road trips!

Are we nuts? LOL.... we would do this July/August 2013.

Combining a trip just adds more to the fun. And then having another family to drive down to Disney sounds like a great time. You can switch who you ride with which takes some of the boredom out of driving. Have an awesome time!

We have been to WDW with this family twice before (rented a house together last year), and we travel together all the time, so this trip sounds like a lot of fun......... We may just have to do this!
