Hi,

We would like to ride Astro Oribitor right after rope drop one morning. The only problem is that it will only be me, one 4 year old, one 7 year old, one 10 year old and one 11 year old.

Is it possible for the 11 year old and 7 year old ride together, the 4 year old ride with me, and the 10 year old ride in his own rocket?

Or can the 4 and 7 year old ride with me (3 in a rocket) and the 10 and 11 year old ride together?

Thanks.

As long as I begging for advise, here's my plan for that morning. I don't want a Fantasyland-fest because the older ones will be bored but I don't want to scare the little ones to death with BTMR and SM (we'll save that for later in the trip). This is our first morning and the rest of the trip DH will be with us.

We are arriving before rope drop.
First get a fast pass for Buzz for the evening
Then ride Astro Orbiter.
Then possibly ride Buzz if time permits.
At 9:45 we want to get in line to meet the princess in Toontown.
Then Goofy's Barnstormer
Then Mad Tea Party
Cinderella's Carrousel
Get a fast pass for Peter Pan or Winnie the Pooh for the evening
Ride Haunted Mansion

Leave around noon.

Any ideas?

Buzz will probably be a walk on if you are getting there for rope drop. We have been able to ride this over and over again without wait at that time of day, of course this was before Space Mt was closed so that might change things a bit but I would still hit it first. I'm not sure about the minimum age requirement but I would say 11 sounds young. Have a great trip.

minimum age to go by oneself on attractions is 7

I understand the rockets are small. I would NOT try for three in a rocket. WDW says 7 years old can ride alone--actually can enter, leave, and tour parks alone.

We are getting the fastpasses for that evening when the park is crowded. It would be great if we could walk onto Buzz right after!

Seven!!!!!:scared1::scared1: We'll, I guess we won't have any problems riding Astro Orbiter.

I know this an old thread, but I would like to know if 7 is still the minimum age to ride alone. Does it apply to all rides if the child meets height requirements?

Yes, it does. Anyone under 7 must be accompanied by someone over 14, but once a child hits 7, they're good to go.

Since the Q has been answered, closing this 10-year old thread to avoid any confusion. Thanks.
