Mini van Rental

Hi all,
I have reserved a mini van in April thriugh Travelocity/ Alamo. Couple of questions:
There are 4 adults, 3 little kids. Will we fit? I drive a van at home, (caravan) and I know we could all fit in my vehicle. I guess what I'm asking, what type of van does Alamo provide and is it a 7 seater?
Also, I am happy with my rate of 324 total for 8 nights/9 days, but if anyone has advice on doing better than that it would be great. I've tried all the codes on Mousesavers, but Travelocity still gave the lowest price.

Alamo, along with it's sister company, National tends to rent GM products. I haven't rented from Alamo for quite a while but I have used National and I hear that they are sharing facilities (and I think cars too) at Orlando. When we have rented vans from National we have found Pontiac Montana's, Chevy Ventures and Astros as well as Grand Caravans on occasion. All of these were the extended wheelbase models. I would assume that if you can all fit in your van at home, you should be OK with the rental. The price you mentioned, was that will all taxes and everything? Many of the discounts don't seem to work around spring break time. Is that when you are going?

We are going 4/20-28, mid week to mid week. Hopefully we will be at the tail end of spring break! Anyhow, yes Travelocity quoted that as 'total cost', which includes taxes and all of that stuff.

Just keep in mind the luggage and (if needed a stroller). We had four adults and 2 kids and there was no was we were getting all that luggage in a mini van. Maybe give it a dry run at home. Lucky for us Alamo did offer a larger van and I got it for a good rate last June.
