Mini pins?

I saw on ebay (I know buyer beware) someone selling something they called mini pins. There were about 6 of them on one big card, all the same theme. They look legitimate but I've never heard of mini pins. Is this something new or am I just out of the loop? It's impossible to tell from the picture - so how small are min pins? Are they tradeable? Thanks.

I have quite a collection of mini pins. I have at least 100. Most of them come from japan. And yes many come in character sets. They are really cute and fun to collect.

In the beginning of pin trading, oneof the rules were that if you had a pin of a "set", you were to trade the set for set or yes 1 pin. Sets were not to be broken up for trading. As I'm sure you and many others may know, that rule was not enforced. I for one, when trading for mini pins, try to trade at least 2 mini pins for one regular size pin. I think this is only fair. Just my opinion on that.

Oh I love love love mini pins!!! I have loads of them in my collection. They are so tiny and cute. LOL
