I wanted to use my voucher for the free mini golf. I wanted to go to the winterland/summerland course at blizzard beach.

Can I do this with an ECV?
Is the course accessible to ride the ECV around?

I was writing up a little activities sheet yesterday for the family and added the mini golf, but just realized that my sudden foot injury and needing the ECV may cancel our plans for this activity.

So sad if that is the case. :guilty:

I've done the courses with an ECV. There is a paved pathway around all of the holes that can be driven on. You will, of course, have to get off the ECV to do the actual playing, but can use it to get around between holes.

ooooooooooooooooooooooh...THANK YOU!
This was going to be a new thing for me to try and I'm so happy now that it's available.

You are really the go to Cat!

(I just told the family and they all just smiled!)

As CF said, the whole course (no pun intended) is accessible and paved, so fairly easy rolling. We did this with me in my wheelchair when we were there a few weeks back, and it was great fun! I used a child's club, because an adult club would be far too long when sitting down, but they also had a special club with a pivoting head if you wanted it (not quite sure what it was meant to do, but apparently it helps you make some of the more awkward shots). I was fine with a regular kid's club, but you might want to try the pivoting head one.

You shouldn't have to go up any of the narrow slopes, because the ball either plays through, or rolls back down (I had the latter all too frequently!). If you're as bad a golfer as I am, you might occasionally get the ball stuck and need someone on foot to rescue it (I managed to get it in the bushes more than once ). You may also have to play with the wrong hand sometimes, if your ball is up close to a wall or edge. Other than that, you should be fine! Oh, and be careful going across the bridge in the Summer course - the fish spit!

Just be warned, the voucher we had only gave us one free person per room booked (I don't know whether yours will be any different, but check the small print). This was still a fairly good deal, as the fella and I basically got a game for half price. Also, they were offereing a deal where you could play another WDW mini golf course that same day (there are 2 courses at both WinterSummerland and Fantasia) for half price!
