DH and I want to get a small fridge for our upstairs den. We plan to use it mainly for beverages...I desperately need to free up space in the big fridge. I want something taller than a cube type. Any recommendations?

Thanks!

I think Sears might have what you are looking for. They have as small as the dorm size (cube) to a couple other sizes in between up to normal size.

Hope this helps.

So do some of the Big Box retailers; Best Buy, Circuit City. Used to have one at work that was about 3 feet high. It was about $120 IIRC. I think the manufacturer began with an H. I've also seen them at HD and Lowes for even cheaper.

The brand name is Haier. We just won one of the dorm-size refrigerators and it was surprisingly lite and really big inside. :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

Thanks guys. Haier is a name I've seen a lot, but never heard of otherwise.

We've got a GE brand fridge in our living room (leftover from DBF's college days). It is approx 3 feet high (I think its more like 2'8'' or 2'9'') and fits a lot. We are huge beer/soda drinkers so it's great to free up that room in our fridge. I think it is a 4.3 cubic feet, which is more than enough for drink storage. It retails for around $200- this is a link to it: http://products.geappliances.com/ApplProducts/Dispatcher?REQUEST=SPECPAGE&SKU=GMR04AAMWW&SITEID=GEA

If it's only for drinks, I couldn't see you needing something bigger than 4.3 cu.ft. I think Home Depot has a good selection. :flower:
