Oh my goodness! I can't believe Brooklyn is old enough to start Kindergarten! And I'm in shock that your schools start the first week in Aug! When does school get out in the spring? Will she go all day to K?

I love that she was sad she had to leave! She'll be a great student!!

Although I can't believe how EARLY the southern schools start back! We still have a month to go of summer! We usually go from the day after labor day until about a week into June.
My DDs are doing a summer day camp program this week that is at one of the local schools (it's sponsored by the school for Young Scholars and is educational). They've been waiting almost 2 months to start their summer camp.

I am finally back! Whew, I am not caught up with the gazillion pages I missed while I was gone. I will catch up soon. Had an awesome time as you could see from Facebook. Looking forward to our Disney trip in around 7 weeks!
Good luck to Brooklyn tomorrow! Cooper starts in a couple of weeks. He went to preschool at the same school,so he is not as nervous. I know how Jill feels. I cried when I took Cooper for the first time.

Me too. Actually, I'm such a softie, I cried just seeing my baby in her uniform for the first time. Right in the store. Moms are so embarrassing.

It's a big step, but after conquering Space Mount-in, I'm sure brave Brooklyn can handle kindergarten. Good luck, Jill & Brooklyn!

OMG, never thought about it looking like sherbet! Jeremy would kill me if he knew this!!! I let him pick out his clothes but someone made fun of the color of his shorts at school and he refuses to wear those around home now.

Awwwww! That's too bad I personally like the color, I love any bright colors. It is a shame how kids treat each other, seems like no one can be themselves anymore without being dubbed "weird"

Jill~ Hope your experience of dropping Brooklynn off at her first day at school is fantastic! My mom was expecting some heart felt memory when she dropped me off on my first day. I wasn't for that though and ended up just being like "Whatever Mom, see ya later I'm going to play with my new friends now"

In honor of Brooklynn's big day, a little fun through the years with her -

She started out as a tiny little thing.

To say she has been surrounded in Disney from the beginning would not be an understatement.

She never even knew we were there.

Concentrate on the pizza-eating baby, not the big ugly boy feet all around her.
