Minature Golf in a Wheelchair

This will be SWMBO's third trip since the WC became a necessity. Minature golf was always on our "To Do" list, but not the last two trips. She has balance and mobility issues (Ataxia) so leaving the WC is not an option.
We were kicking this around, figuring that teeing off is not a problem. She could then wheel to the next shot, relocating the ball as needed, etc.
Any input would be appreciated.

It's been years since I've played miniature golf but I used to do it often while in a wheelchair. I'm a paraplegic and don't have the use on anything below the bottom of my ribcage. I used to do fine at miniature golf as long as the course was mostly accessible. I've heard that one of the two courses at WDW is accessible and maybe some day when I have some "free time" at WDW I'll try it out.

Both are wheelchair accessible. We have been to Fantasia, and although DD would only play a little bit, she did wheel around the course with the rest of us. As far as I remember (and it was a while ago), it was totally accessible. It was built in the mid 1990s, so would have fallen under the ADA for accessibility.

If either is more accessible than the other, Winterland-Summerland would probably be better because it was built a few years after Fantasia.

I haven't been to Winter-Summerland yet (on my To Do list for December), but I played Fantasia in May. I use a standard powerchair with an EZ Lock installed. Notable because that adds an extra hanging bolt under my chair and lowers my threshhold clearance.

I had no trouble getting around Fantasia and playing. It's very accessible. Just wish I was a better golfer.

Yep, my DD has an EZ lock on her power wheelchair. She's gotten hung up on all sorts of things (including an extension cord and a hose) since the bolt hangs down pretty low.
