I can't keep these two straight! Arriving at the FFI next week and will be taking mid-day breaks and having either lunch or dinner outside the park. I signed up for their "e-clubs" and have coupons to both of them. Which is the better of the two restaurants?

Thanks!

I personally adore Mimi's. Their children's meals are marvelous and I adore their salads. Yummy!

Millie's is a nice choice, and we have had nice meals there, but I prefer Mimi's. Given my visits, either is a well priced meal. Millie's is running an appetizer, dessert, and two entrees for 20 dollars, and you just can't beat a deal like that with a chocolate covered spoon.

Plan on eating at both while you are there and then decide which suits your taste better.

We personally prefer the food at Mimi's even though the prices are just slightly higher. They have a nice selection and the food is always very tasty. Millie's is OK too, but Mimi's just has that little something extra.

every time we have eaten at Millie's, they are WAY understaffed. We wait forever for our food and rarely get any attn. from our servers.

we love Mimi's. Did breakfast and had our food in 5 min from the time we ordered! Millie's we waited over 45 min for our food. So frustrating.

I'm planning to go there next month too. Already checked their menu on website and wonder if anyone has recommendation on which dish to order. Thanks!

I'm from NY and never heard of Mimi's, is it close to the Grand Californian? Is it similar to Denny's or Perkins? Thanks.

It's on Harbor Blvd, pretty much the first thing you see from the Monorail when it exits DL enroute to the DTD station. I'd call Mimi's Cafe an upscale coffee shop - maybe there's a better term. Here's their story - http://www.mimiscafe.com/OurStory.aspx - you'll note that the first Mimi's opened in Anaheim in 1978 (on Euclid Ave) and now covers 22 states, the closest to you being in Maryland.

We have eaten at both over the years. We found Mimis to be good, large portions and offered a great breakfast for about $5 with their yummy muffin.

We also really like Millies because it offered some "healthier" choices, not many its still a chain. The prices were also a little lower.

I would just do both - just make sure you skip all the other places they are not worth it and the walk is not that much further to better food.

Enjoy

We like Mimi's--lots of salads, fresh fruit, fresh muffins, etc.--a nice break from the nutrition disaster at Disneyland :) We haven't been to Millie's--looked at the menu posted outside and it appeared to be similar to Denny's/Carrow's/etc.

If you're into salads their Asian salad is TO DIE FOR.

I really like their Beef Dip and their Meatloaf is DELICIOUS

But honestly, for me..the must have every time is their French Onion Soup

Thanks for all the replies. I had a feeling that Mimi's was the preferred choice of dis'ers, but I couldn't remember!!
