Milwaukee People - Share Activity Suggestions Please :)

We live in the midwest. This summer we are taking a family trip through Wisconsin. We are going to be in the Milwaukee area for 3 days. We are looking for family activities. Our kids are 16,13,9.
We are not interested really in any activity that we can do at home. This includes the museums, zoo, etc. We hope to spend more time outside than inside.
Suggestions and thoughts?

When we visited around 10 years ago we did a harbor cruise. I think we also walked around a war memorial.

Lots of festivals in the summer months.

I’m not sure when you are visiting or where you are staying, but here are a few of my summer long recommendations. Also, Milwaukee has some amazing restaurants throughout the city so be sure to check out a few. Feel free to reach

-Festivals on the lake (there is a different festival each weekend, check out the Milwaukee World Festival website)
-Sprecher Brewery Tour (kids can sample multiple soda flavors)
-Harley Davidson Museum
-Tailgate at a Milwaukee Brewer’s game
-Safehouse spy bar - great for kids too
-boat tours of Lake Michigan or the Milwaukee river
-walk along the Milwaukee River walk or along Lake Mochigan
-Bradford beach - if you want to play beach volleyball, etc. But I wouldn’t recommend going into the water.
-Milwaukee Public market

You're kids will probably love the atmosphere and cool little alcoves. It would be a great place to go and have dinner one night. I only visited once but loved the place. You should definitely check it out!

Summerfest (big music festival) goes on for 3 separate weekends.
State fair is ~10 or 11 days in early August.
See if the Brewers are in town!
You could tour Fiserv Forum (home of the Milwaukee Bucks)
Pabst Mansion is spectacular!
The Marcus Center does outside “stuff” during the lunch hour, their schedule is not yet posted, if I recall, these are often concerts. But it could be a fun place to have a picnic lunch.
There is a new food hall, 3rd St Market Hall, that is very popular. I haven’t been there, but a variety of restaurants!
if you are in downtown, my favorite restaurant is Cubanitas. Great Cuban food!
There are a wide variety of walking tours, if that would interest you, also a lot of foid-related tours!
