Milton Keynes?

I was wondering if anyone knew this area. I am meeting a (dis!!) friend there as it is half way between us in a couple of weeks. Any idea where we could meet? I was thinking of a retail park with a TGI's on or something like that? MK Dons are at home that day so |I guess we would have to steer clear of there. Any ideas? We will both be coming off the M1. Thanks in advance!

I go to Milton Keynes a lot, it is my local shopping place! If you wanted to meet somewhere that is easy to find and has some restaurants I would recommend meeting at Xscape (the snow dome). It is easily signposted from the M1 (follow the signs for central MK shopping and Xscape will be signposted at some point too). Inside the shopping part of the snowdome before you go into the actual skiing place there is a Frankie and Bennys, Nandos, nice chain pub etc.

we go to milton keynes a lot too. except we eat at the TGI's there. it is a fab restaurant and ive never had a bad experience there.
we generally meet friends at the point (the pyramid) are you going shopping too? the pyramid is a great meeting point if youre going shopping and there a great walkway under the main road to TGI's.
Ive been loads of times when the MK dons are playing at home and weve never had any trouble with the traffic. although bear in mind with it coming up to christmas the traffic will be starting to get bad.
