It's Really Not So Scary

After the stage show we made our way through the crowds and headed for the front of the park. We were on the look out for any spot for the parade, which I suggested going all the way to the end of the parade route because its always empty. As we walked down main street everyone was complaining how we wouldn’t find a spot, because no one ever believes Sam, and by the time we got to the train station it was dead.

Once getting settled Kiss and I headed over to the fire station to grab our party card. This years was the best yet because it was the country bears (And although I didn’t go to MVMCP the CoP one was amazing too) It was a good year for sorcerer cards.

As the creeper crew started to head down our way we quickly waved down the photo pass CM to take a picture with the sign….which at the time we thought was the Boo to You one. Turns out it wasn’t.

As the creeper crew did their thing, I was just waiting patiently for them to start passing out candy. And once they did one of the crew members came up to Brittany and I and goes “Do you guys want candy? Oh well of course you do!” Duh I’m king candy!

Then before the parade started we found a Photopass CM with the right sign

After the parade we had 20 minutes to find a spot for the fireworks and wait. I love these parties because you're not squishing and weaving through the normal night fireworks crowd to find a spot. We had a big open area in front of the ice cream shop and if everything went well no children would be hoisted up on shoulders to block our view.

With all the 360 fireworks it gets a bit smokey “Its so hazy right now it like the civil war”
Brittany brought up a question that I was not at all ready to hear. “Since wishes is gone are they going to get rid of Hallowishes?” No I am not ready to live a life without hallowishes. Its my favorite and I love dearly.
After the fireworks we found our way heading over to Tomorrowland to what else? Candy.
First up the CoP trail and once we finished that lotso came walking, more like hobbling out. There was no one in line and I never met him. Brittany crushed my dreams as she practically booked it across tomorrowland and fear that the bear would come and chase her.
So sorry lotso maybe next time. Instead we went through all the candy trails in tomorrowland and ended at cosmic rays. AKA one of Brittany’s favorite places. She hates sonny and she never lets me eat here but tonight we weren’t eating, we were just there for the candy.

It was adios tomorrowland hello fantasyland and off to philharmagic where this year there was a candy trail and they were showing disney halloween movies inside the theater. As I was waiting to get candy one CM shouted “It’s a Cybug! Don’t go into the light” Well played sir.

Before Brittany left us for the night (since it was a school night for her) we had to go to sleepy hallow to get the pumpkin spice waffle sundae. Sleepy hallow was bumping tonight! I was prepared to wait though because they did not have the pumpkin spice waffles during the parties last year and I was super bummed.
As we waited Brittany and I reminisced on the time a CM poured hot oil on her, while we couldn’t place our finger on when it happened since we have been to Disney so many times together, we do remember hearing about it.
Reunited and it tastes so good!

Once scarfing down our waffles, we said our goodbyes fast and sweet so Brittany could leave before getting stuck behind the second parade. At this point my mother was getting antsy because she came to the park and didn’t ride one ride. So we decided what is the perfect attraction to end our halloween party night?! Off to go socialize with some grim grinning ghosts.

A Spooktacular Night Came To An End

It was the end of the night and the haunted mansion was dead, literally. We just missed entering the mansion so we waited by ourselves. Now some of you will no some CMs will walk out with the doors when they open. Ma was right at that yellow line waiting and the CM came right at her. She froze and refused to go in first. It was one of the funniest things I’ve witnessed.
As we waited for the stretching room another family decided to join in on the fun. Once entering the stretching room I was preparing myself for this CM to be spooky, he followed the older son in the family but once he saw the younger brother terrified in his mothers arm his character changed and became super friendly.
After the haunted mansion the party was coming to an end. But before we left the kingdom Justin headed to get his work stuff from the break room so we got in the none existing line for the special photo pass photo with the hm lantern picture.

We walked around a very quiet frontier land as we waited for Alicia and Justin to meet up with us.

On our way out my very classy mother somehow snuck in little shots of whisky in, so her and kiss where taking shots in frontierland.
Then it was the end of another great halloween party. And goodbye to my favorite kingdom until my next trip.

The line for the boat back was out of control and the ride home was a nice squished ride.
Then from one crowded boat we all squeezed the six of us onto the golf cart. The ride back to the resort was going dandy…until we heard something fall off of the cart. Then we heard Pa “oh no my candy!” Alish hopped off the cart and ran to get it. Kiss was a driving maniac tonight, riding over all the potholes, first the bag of candy fell out next it was going to be king candy.
Luckily that didn’t happen and we made it back to the cabin in one piece.
We said our goodbyes to Alish and Justin since we leave tomorrow and before we called it a night Kiss and I packed up our stuff since we were heading to AK bright and early.

The Pandora 5K

It was a bright and early morning after a fun long night out, but thats what happens when Pandora is the hottest thing to hit Disney. So our plan was to get there an hour before the park opens, crazy yes, but this was Kiss’s first time visiting the world of pandora and we didn’t have time to wait in line all day since we had a plane to catch.
We got to AK around 8 and while there was already a big crowd forming the AP line was really dead. And for us this morning, that little perk was a great time saver for us.
Tip: For those who are planning on running with the bulls, banshees, disney guests…get to the park early because they will open the gates early and you will have a better chance getting on right away.

Today they let us start trickling in 45 minutes early, so at 8:15 we were making our way over to the pandora area. I knew that Disney loves to rope you off, however some guests didn’t know this and they start their morning dash. I will always laugh and will always make comments to those who MUST “jog” to try and beat everyone.
“I didn’t know it was the marathon today!” “What disney run is it? the Pandora 5k?!”

We were stopped right before the bridge over to pandora and even without running we could see the front of line. So I hope that Pandora 5k was worth it for those people.
And while it looks like a huge crowd, if you look close enough the people with the blue hats were the front of the line

About every 10 minutes they would inch the start of the line closer and closer, then at 8:45 we were welcomed into Pandora. And everyone had one thing on their mind…Flight of Passage

This was by far the quickest I have ever done this, without a fastpass. The first time I did the morning run to Pandora I got in line over on the bridge connecting pandora and the harambe village. This time it was a complete walk on.

and it was already at an hour wait…

Also the closer you are to the front in the morning, be prepared to miss out on the queue. We were taken through the FP line and Kiss was beyond mad because he was really looking forward to seeing the queue. Just another reason to come back, and wait in that 3 hour line?
We were one of the first people in our chamber, so we got the “you’re all contaminated!” and got attacked by the air blasters. But we were finally matched with our avatar

Overall Kiss was very impressed…I still love it and I’ve been on it many times already.
I was finally initiated and become a native, heres to all the ikran joy rides in my future!

By the time we got off it was 9:05 and the park was officially open. We decided to not go on the river ride, since in my opinion its not worth the wait. So instead we headed over to hangout with a yeti.
Today Kiss learned how dead the rest of the park is thanks to the Pandora 5k. So why not do everest twice just because we can?!

Great update! I'm impressed that you were able to get on FOP within an hour. And I agree that NRJ is not worth much more than a 20-30 minute wait. Expedition Everest definitely is, though, and with Pandora packed all the time, the waits for it usually aren't too bad.

I have been on FOP a good amount of times and refuse to wait for it for anything longer than an hour, if I can't get a fp I will get there first thing, or wait right when the park is about to close.

See Ya Real Soon

After a few trips on Everest we decided to head over to Dinoland USA and go back in time.

Time travel is…however today I seemed to be unimpressed with it

Since we hit all the top attractions at AK before 10am we wandered. We still had time to kill since Kiss wanted to try the canteen for lunch. So we decided to head over to the harambe village to watch FotLK, but before we headed to get in line it was a quick visit to starbucks.

Today was a change in my festival of the lion king viewing, I did just that. I watched without taking photos. A nice change.

After the show it was back to pandora for the food. I enjoy the food here a lot and its always a difficult choice on what to order. This time I decided to try the rice bowl kids meal edition. Since the regular size is huge and the last time I only ate like half of it.

Kiss got the burger pods…he enjoyed them but said there was too much pod to hamburger ratio.

After lunch we entered into a rainy pandora

But a rainy pandora is better than not being in pandora

Since we did everything we came to do, we decided to leave AK and head over to WL too meet up with our parents.
My parent’s are big fans of the lodge, Pa appreciates the native vibes and Ma is obsessed with the train room. So they spent there afternoon there and enjoyed a nice lunch at Geyser Point.
Once arriving to the lodge we ended up running into Alish who was just leaving and heading off to work…see ya sometime I guess? Basically how that goodbye went.
Once finding the rents they were just finishing up so we sat and chatted about our morning, Kiss raved about Pandora. The weather today was the weird florida weather, it was sunny one moment and then it was super windy and and chilly mist the next. Since I was not having any fun with the cold mist hitting me, cause I am not at voyage of the little mermaid when I expect it to ran on me, we decided to move into the lobby.
I’m OBSESSED with the smell of this lobby…and basically just this resort itself. So I felt so much at home that I ended up falling asleep in the lobby for a solid 45 minutes.

I was very confused to where I was once I woke up. Spent a solid 5 minutes not knowing what to do till I decided to head off to MK for a half hour. I’m not one who can just lay around all day, sitting around doing nothing in Disney. It was our last day, the tragical express was getting us in about 2 hours, so why not take a boat to MK?

Once arriving at the kingdom the sun finally decided to make an appearance.

Now my original plan was “get to the park by 3 watch FoF and leave” Well joke was on me because today was the day when it started at 2 so it was already over when we got there.

Waiting in any line wasn’t really an option for us, since we couldn't miss our bus to the airport. Luckily for us I still had a re-add from Brittany from our first night. So one last trip to space before we called this trip complete.

And thats how we ended our quick MK trip, Space and then we peaced out of the crowded kingdom and headed back to the fort. We got our own VIP motor coach, and by that I mean it was only us on the bus back.
Once arriving I needed to make a pit stop at the trading post before taking another bus to the other side of the resort to wait for the ME.

The new fort merchandise was calling me. Because honestly who doesn’t like walking around the campgrounds, its one of my favorite things to do especially during halloween/christmas time.

With our short time left at fort wilderness, I wish we were going to Hoop instead of leaving.

But instead of enjoying an endless amount of cornbread, we were stuck getting on a motor coach headed to the front of the resort. We still had sometime before our tragical express came so we hung out in the reception outpost. Our parents finally showed up, we got our bags and headed to the bus stop about 15 minutes before the bus was suppose to come.
Well the bus decided to never show up…I was taking this as a sign, why not just stay another night? Apparently the CM was not about that because she went in and called to see where the bus was. Well it never came, and the bus schedule after ours decided they had enough room for us to take to the airport.
fast forward to the tragical express, some chic-fil-a and flying home.
And that my friends is how this trip came to an end, but no need to worry because a January trip was in the near future!​

You were able to fit a lot in on your last day before the tragical express ride to the airport. It's nice that you had enough time to dip into Magic Kingdom for a few minutes and ride Space Mountain, which is definitely in my top 3 attractions at MK.

This happened to me on my last trip! We waited over an hour for our Magical Express, which was incredibly frustrating as I could have spent that hour and a half somewhere awesome. Like, literally anywhere other than standing at the bus stop!! I'm sorry your trip is over, I enjoyed your report a lot and am looking forward to January!
