We are staying in a 1-bed unit this trip and I want to be able to eat breakfast in the room. Do they sell 1/2 gallons or full gallons of milk in the gift shop grocery section at Wilderness Lodge? If so-any guesses on cost? I really don't want to have to buy individual milk containers at Roaring Fork so I might have to bring a cooler and buy it off property if they don't sell milk or if Disney pricing is outrageous!!

All of the deluxe resort stores have milk.

I believe that there is a grocery list on the member website for each resort.

Thank you! can anyone comment on price. I know it's going be higher than the grocery store but probably worth it for the convenience of not having to drive off site for a grocery store!

As for price, I am not one for getting a $25 per day car so I can save $1 per gallon on milk. We have Garden Grocer deliver if we're staying a while or just get what we need at the little store there (in all of the DVC resorts in FL).

What really shocked me was when we stayed at GCV at DLR in California, was that we could NOT get milk in the gift shop there. We did not have a car, so I actually walked a mile or so to the nearest supermarket and schlepped it back. So word to the wise: if you at Disneyland either get a car or have grocery delivery bcs they don't have the usual DVC grocery selection in the store there. The WDW resorts on the other hand provide decent basic groceries

Last stay at VGC, the bellman mentioned that one of the local grocery stores will deliver. Maybe Vons. Thought he said the first order was free.

Before your next visit, maybe check on the VGC thread and see what folks have to say.

I bought a 1/2 gallon this summer at the store in the Beach Club and I think I paid $3.15. Which I didn't think was too bad as I can pay up to $2.89 at the grocery store here at home.
