Good morning everyone. We've just been diagnosed with milk allergies so our dining plans have completely changed. We're going to be in Disney in a month so we're down to the wire with planning. Can anyone reccomend counter service places in the Magic Kingdom or any resorts that we can eat at? We're also trying to stay away from fried foods so the milk allergy hit us with a double whammy. Thanks so much for your help everyone. Have a wonderful day.

Epcot: Sunshine Seasons is amazing. Lots of options there. You'll actually work with a chef. My DD12 enjoys the rotisserie chicken while my DD14 and I enjoy the seared tuna over salad. There are plenty of other options as well. At the American pavillion they currently have a steak that's served with roasted potatoes and steamed broccoli though I don't know how long they'll continue serving that.

AK: The only CS place I could come up with for us was Flame Tree BBQ. Not sure if there is a side option that's safe with the chicken and ribs besides fries; with our allergies there isn't but we've got a heck of a lot more than just milk that we're avoiding.

At DHS we typically eat TS so I'm no help there. The rare time we do get CS we eat chicken tenders with fries so hopefully somebody else will have suggestions for you. I haven't checked but maybe the sushi at Starring Rolls would be an option?

At MK there's rotisserie chicken available at Cosmic Ray's and after 4pm there's also ribs. The baked potatoes and sweet potatoes at the cart outside Columbia Harbour House are safe but in order to get some kind of margarine you have to shlep over to Main Street Bakery for it which is a pain so we didn't bother. At CHH we always get chicken tenders with fries so no help to you there. I believe that I've read that Main Street Bakery typically has some kind of vegan option such as a hearty soup. You could ask about it early in the day. I believe I've also read that if you go in there in the morning then you can place an order for something like a safe sandwich for later.

Most resorts will have some CS options though at the Crescent Lake resorts the CS options are much more limitted than at the other ones.
