Does any one know if there is a website that I can find a listing of foods and ingredients that some of the resturants might carry. My son has a severe dairy allergy and we dont want any problems on our trip. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

I would suggest you go to the disABILITIES forum. They have lots of information there about handling of food allergies.

Hi there, we also cannot have dairy (myself, dh, mom, dad) and we check out www.allearsnet.com in the "vegetarian/vegan" section of the dining info. Vegan dishes do not contain dairy so anything listed as vegan should contain no milk whatsoever. What we do is use that site as a guideline to make our dining plan, then we call each restaurant directly to reconfirm ingredients/available items. Lots of work but over time we know which restaurants have what and it gets easier. You can always ask when you get there, as well. I know the chefs will always accommodate food allergies, from experience! HTH and good luck!

Hi! My DS has severe dairy allergies as well - contact and ingestion. His third trip to WDW is in June.

I copied this information from another post to use when we get closer to this trip. It's the numbers to call for each park; you can ask for the food/beverage manager or the executive chefs, tell them of your childs severe milk allergy and get information on restaurants as well as counter foods:
Magic Kingdom Park: 407-824-5967
Epcot: 407-560-7292
Disney-MGM Studios: 407-560-1347
Disney's Animal Kingdom: 407-939-7536 (Please note Walt Disney World
Company operates no full-service restaurants in this park.)

I have asked for ingredient lists at counter service restaurants with no problems. For sit down restaurants I mention the allergy when I make the PS and they give me a number to call a few days before to talk to a chef. When I check in I tell my server about my son's allergy and the chef comes out to talk. Either we are walked through the buffet and/or a special plate is made up the is dairy free.

On our last trip when I was making my PS's the CM and I were talking about allergies and she looked up some ingredient information about dairy free hotdogs, hamburgers, chicken strips and buns at counter service places in the MK. Very helpful.

On our last trip we UPS'ed a box of non-perishable breakfast and snack items that were dairy free. We also sent some soy milk that did not need to be refrigerated prior to opening. We usually fed our DS breakfast in the room.

Hope this is helpful. We've done Crystal Palace, Kona, 'Ohana, H&V, tons of counter service and others. Please let me know if you have any specific questions and I'll help if I can.

Our DS has a milk and nut allergy. Things that are safe around the parks include: hamburgers and the buns, hot dogs and buns, French Fries, Strawberry fruit bars and Itzakadoozie Cool Creations (from ice cream carts), fresh fruit, vanilla and chocolate tofutti frozen dessert (available from Main Street cone shop MK and also at counter service ice cream shops that serve hard scooped ice cream: Liberty Inn, Epcot, Hollywood Scoops MGM, and Dino Bite Snack in AK), Baked ptato, large pretzels, Turkey drumsticks, and frozen lemonades. He was also able to eat chicken strips around the parks. If you have a priority seating call ahead and speak to the chef. For Donald's breakfastsaurus and Le Cellier the chefs had safe brownies available (only with advance notice) and Chef Mickey's gave him a huge bowl of Tofutti and his own new bottle of Hershey's syrup. The chef at Kona made him milk free pancakes.

Hope this helps.
