Military Voucher and Early Entry...

I have a military voucher for our Universal tickets. I will be arriving at Cabana Bay at approximately 9:00 p.m. on a Friday evening and going to the park on Saturday morning for early entry.

Does anyone know if the ticket office at the gate will be open in time Saturday morning to actually allow us to redeem the vouchers and make early entry?

Or, does Cabana Bay have a ticket office that will be open when I arrive where I can redeem my vouchers that night?

Not sure about your vouchers, but each hotel has a ticket desk. Inquire at the main desk, when you arrive and they will help you figure the best course of action.

I never did this myself, but will try to answer with what I observe. CBay (and the other hotels) have a kiosk that looks like a ticket counter. I am not sure that counter is fully equipped to do such transactions. I always assumed they were selling hard tickets only. And I think they are 9-5 operations anyway.

You are getting in too late to run over thru CtiyWalk and to the park ticket offices that night.

So your last option is to go in the morning. Yes, there will be someone at the ticket office before EE. There might only be one window open as most people already have their tix. This is another reason for you to get out bright and early for rope drop. The family can get spot in the line while you do the vouchers. Have fun!

When we went last April we were able to exchange our military vouchers at the ticket office at the gate before getting in line and waiting another 10 minutes or so for the parks to open for early entry.

That's a good idea. We were staying at Shades of Green and booked RPR for one night so we could get front of line passes and early entry two days. The ticket window at RPR wasn't open at the insane morning hour that we arrived!

I just checked for you. They close at 8pm and open at 7am. The ticket desk at the hotel. They told me absolutely you can exchange them in the hotel and it should only take a couple of minutes.

I called earlier as well; the person I spoke with gave me the hours but did not seem to know much about vouchers.
