Military Salute Tickets

Hi! I recently asked a question about the military salute tickets needing activation prior to use, and was pleasantly surprised when I was informed that the tickets from Shades of Green come already activated.

I just got off the phone with Shades to finalize my ticket purchase. Although the lady confirmed that the tickets come activated, she told me that I need to show my military ID at the turnstiles to confirm. I’ve used these tickets many times before and have no memory of having to do this.

Our group planned on splitting up, now I’m worried we have to do everything together. My in-laws planned on going to a park on arrival day, and since we have little ones we didn’t want to do this. Anyone with recent experience? Thanks!

We have always had to show our military ID for the Military Salute tickets. In December, I took the tickets to the ticketing office at Disney Springs and activated all of our tickets (we did not have tickets from Shades of Green this time. but our local base) Might try this to see if it will work.

Once activated I never had to show an id at the turnstile...done this at least 10 times....last time being February 2024....

Oh good! Ive never had to either. I think we will just wing it, if there’s an issue we will deal with it then.
