Military Room Discount

My DH and I are staying at the values in October for F&W My DD and her friend are meeting us and have booked their own room at the military discount rate. DH and I will check in a day before the girls and we will meet them and be there when they check in. DD doesn't have a military ID her Dad and I do. Am I correct in assuming that the girls can check in using the discount as long as I am there with my ID or does the ID card holder need to be on the reservation?

I believe that a person holding the military ID card has to be on their reservation.

The military member can book up to 3 rooms and they can be I different names with different credit cards
However I am not sure how it works with different check in dates but assume it's fine as long as tie member is there at check in and to play it safe I would have them note it on the ressy when the member check in too

Are the ressies linked together?
If not you should try and do that because it might be a requirement
Ie so disne doesn't think you just hooked up and are not actually a group together
