But in the meantime, since I am a realist, I will be praying for a speedy resolution to this mess... and I will be keeping our military in my prayers daily... I just got a call from the mother of one of younger DS's friends. She wanted DS's E-mail address so that her son in the Marines could correspond with DS - since her son is in Kuwait and left rather hurriedly right before Thanksgiving. DS said he's looking forward to writing to him and hearing from him. I hugged this kid (young man) last summer & told him I pray for him.

I pray for the safety of the United States Military and the safety of all innocents. I pray that as few lives are lost as possible. And my God go with them and it be done quickly.

My baby brother is in the Navy. I haven't talked to him in a while. He was to go to the Middle East the week before Christmas but his deployment was pushed back to March. My prayers are with all of the service men and women and their families.

God bless you for answering your country's call. And God bless the families for supporting their loved ones in the military.

We are part of one of the largest Boy Scout Troops in the U.S. We always have a list of our former Scouts that are in the military and send notes to them. I agree that it helps keep their spirits up, and it makes me feel good too.

My doctor is in Kuwait, he's my age and he's in active military duty right now, he's been gone since before Christmas.

I really don't know that many people in the military. I pray for all military and their families. And I'm not a big praying type... but this sure seems like a good time to do that. I wish this whole war/terrorist life style would just end (and not with alot of blood shed) but that dosen't seem likely.
