Military Discounts on Park Tickets

I went to my local military base (Ft. Jackson, SC) today to buy 5 day hoppers for a child. I was very surprised to learn that I could get them here for $165 where it would cost $179 to get them at Shades of Green on site. I had assumed that all the military discounts would be the same. Just a hint to shop around if you have an option.

Wow, I checked in Washington and kid tickets were $162.50 and adults were $220 for 5 day passes for Park Hopper Tickets. Park hopper plus was $250 for adults. I can't wait to get "home"!!!! Thanks for the info!

I too compared PH tickets being sold at our base and SOG. Our base (NAS FT. Worth) is cheaper than SOG by about $5 to $10.

If you don't buy your tickets before arriving SOG is still a pretty good deal.
