I booked a reservation for 11 nights in March (6-17), King-sized room at Port Orleans Riverside - regular price would be around $3300.

The AP rate I booked at was about $2270 for the same room.

I just called and the military rate was $2050 or so...$200 savings for 11 nights! Yay!

That's great! So nice to see community support for our soldiers.

The military rate is awesome and you can save on the dining plan also. I love that Disney does that for our military.

There isn't any savings on the dining plans for military but you can add it to a discounted military room to get a package without tickets (since the Salute tickets are available) and that makes it a great deal. The military discount on Moderates is 35%!

i am contemplating adding the dining plan...do I have to do it before I leave? Or can I do it when I get there?
