Military discount + disney dollars

We are planning to use the new military discount deal for our tickets and 40% off our resort. Can we use disney dollars to purchase our tickets? What about paying off our resort (I assume we have to use our credit card, but thought I'd check)?

As long as you are paying on-site to Disney directly I don't see why not.
They are just the same as cash on WDW property. I am not sure that I would use them to send through the mail, since it is really the same as cash. Depending on how many you have you might just plan to use them for your meals and extras on site, or if you don't have them yet you could instead get a Disney Gift Card that you can use over the phone.

Do you have to purchase the tickets on base? If so then you could not use Disney Dollars. But if you can buy them at the WDW tix window by showing ID (which I think you can do?) then use the Disney dollars.

With a room only reservation you have to put down a certain amount, pay that with cc and then use the DD to pay the room off when you get there. You can also put the DD on your room charge so you don't have to carry them around to use them.
